Ingredients

  • Sailor's Choice Prawn - 500 grams
  • Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
  • Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Corn flour - 1 tablespoon
  • Coconut powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Oil - to fry
  • Water - as required
  • Salt - to taste

Instructions

  1. Shell and wash the prawns.
  2. In a bowl, add coconut powder, corn flour, red chilli powder, pepper powder, salt, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, a little bit of water and mix well in a nice paste.
  3. Now add prawns. Mix properly. Keep in the fridge for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan. Once the oil gets hot, deep fry the coated prawns until they’re light golden in colour. Keep aside for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Double fry the prawns to make them crunchy.
  6. Once they turn a nice golden colour, take out a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  7. Serve hot.
